Singapore’s arbitration regime is based on the UNCITRAL Model Law. As a party to the New York Convention, arbitration awards of member countries are fully enforceable in Singapore.

Foreign arbitrators have complete freedom to practise arbitration work here. They are also exempted from taxes for income derived from arbitration work done here.
Stable Climate and Extensive Infrastructure
Singapore is the most politically stable country in Asia and has among the lowest crime rates worldwide (IMD World Competitiveness Yearbook 2014, IMD Switzerland). The consistency and predictability of the local business environment has helped attract more than 7,000 MNCs to Singapore.
